Tennis Division

This division has the largest number of players in the Club. As an example of its high level of activity, the tennis school has 900 boys and girls in various categories.

With 38 lighted clay courts, Real Club de Polo is one of the clubs with the most courts in Spain and also has the largest number of federation players in the country.

Aside from the ITF Seniors international tournament, our facilities also host the Potter Cup, an international event with teams selected from the best veteran players in the circuit held annually since 1972. Such important tournaments as the Maria Esther Bueno Cup (1990), the Veterans World Championship (1993), the Italia Cup (1993), the ATP Challenger Tour (1993), the Jack Crawford Cup (1999), the Junior Davis Cup (1991, 2004, 2005, 2006, and 2012), and the Junior Fed Cup (2012), aside from national, regional, and social championships, have been and still are held on our courts.

RC Polo’s tennis school, as a philosophy to be followed, has established the following order of priorities for training its players:

  1. Training to be honest athletes
  2. Training to be tennis players
  3. Training to be highly competitive players
And similar to the items above:
  4. Training integrated into the social framework.

To practice tennis and join any of the Club teams, you must have the corresponding Federation License, which is processed by the Club itself.
